SetupWebRequest will set the KeepAlive property to true, even though that is inappropiate in this case.&lt;br /&gt;Result is that when doing lots of DownloadBytes calls &amp;#40;as CodePlex.SvnBridge does when doing a checkout for example&amp;#41;, some machines will run out of open sockets.&lt;br /&gt;To fix, DownloadBytes &amp;#40;and there might be similar problems elsewhere&amp;#41; should not set the KeepAlive property to true or somehow reuse the connection.
